Adidas has proudly announced a partnership between the global historic footballer,
Lionel Messi and the singer Enito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, also known as Bad
Bunny. The bad bunny and Messi collection has been put in place to celebrate the
connection between sport and music. The two celebrities are fond of each other and
Bad Bunny mentions Messi five times in his latest album. Bad Bunny’s songs are also
featured in Lionel Messi’s pre-game playlist, the connection between them has been
ignited within their passions before the campaign and Adidas is using this connection
to highlight the art of both of their passions. The collection is inspired by the heritage
of Adidas by including iconic fashion styles of the brand from the materials and
colours and archives enriched within the collection. The collection contains the
honourable, Gazelle’s and the adidas F50 cleat. Messi will be wearing the F50 cleat,
the stylish football boot. The Gazelle’s worn bad Bunny, who is fan of the shoe and
has been seen wearing them before and incorporates the gym and active fashion
style into his wardrobe. The models within the collection will have inspiration from all
the trophies that Messi has been awarded over the world for his status of being “the
best footballer in the world”. An example of one of the design elements is an “X”
stripe to incorporate his number 10 football shirt. The Gazelle’s will incorporate the
collaboration of the two by having Bad Bunny Para Messi’ on the tongue of the shoe.
This thoughtful collaboration will bring stylish looks for Adidas.
