Rhuigi Villasenor steps in as Chief Brand officer for Como 1907

The creative director and founder of the luxury streetwear brand, RHUDE, has been named the Chief Brand Officer of the Italian football team, Como 1907. There is a trend of fashion icons getting involved with acquiring football clubs. A few weeks ago, A$AP Rocky bought the English football team, the Tranmere Rovers, and is now the director of RHUDE. This is a part of the goal to create a new range of expanded powerhouse teams. Which will be infused with luxury, fashion, sports, hospitality, and keeping up with the latest trends, this will benefit companies as they will expand and be redefined by engaging with other companies. Rhuigi Villasensor has stated his excitement and reasoning for why he chose the Italian club: “I’m excited to help shape the future of Como 1907 and its wider ventures, blending fashion, football, and lifestyle in a way that feels effortless." As part of his role, collaborating fashion and football is what will be his initial drive, and his skill and expertise will collide to create a renowned success. He will do this by leading the design of fashion lines and products for the club, expanding the club's identity across multiple industries through fashion and hospitality, and he will oversee brand strategy and consumer goods.
