White supremacists hosted a Trump-themed boat parade, which involved neo-Nazi
supporters waving Swastika flags while chanting racist slogans. A popular chant that
was used was “Heil Trump" Referring to him as a king and someone to be
worshipped.
Has American politics gone too far?
The event was originally advertised on social media as a parade to show support for
the Trump 2024 campaign, allowing fellow patriots to join for an unforgettable day on
the water. The supporters surely took charge of this event, creating more of a Nazi
parade than a gathering of political supporters.
The host of the event was superfan Carlos Gavidia, who was prosecuted in 2020 for
the use of antisemitic slurs and threatening a Jewish man online. Donald Trump’s
son Eric and his wife, Melania, were in attendance at the event and were stationed
on a boat, with a large bust of Trump with an injured ear with blood to signify the
assassination attempt in July next to them. Do the people of America want their
president and his family to be in support and allegiance with Nazi supremacists?
Only the votes will tell.
