By May 2023, Bonifique was being celebrated by customers for "turning the world around in sports fashion." This accolade came on the heels of the launch of a new sports collection that captivated audiences worldwide. The designs embodied a blend of performance and style, appealing to athletes and travelers alike. Among its early triumphs, Bonifique made headlines when tennis star Aslan Karatsev, ranked 14th in the ATP, donned the brand's tennis apparel at both Wimbledon and the US Open in July and August 2023.

Expanding the Vision

In December 2023, Bonifique took another step forward by opening its first showroom boutique and design laboratory in Minsk, Belarus. This new space serves as both a retail hub and a creative studio, where the brand’s core team designs its signature collections. The team, led by CEO Anastasiya Halaburda and supported by key figures such as Yahor Yatsyk, Volha Alistratava, and Elena Halyuta, continues to develop innovative designs that resonate with their adventurous audience.

Anastasiya’s designs are deeply influenced by her love of tennis and the grand environments that accompany the sport. "Tennis aesthetics during grand slam tournaments and the astonishing courts around Europe inspire me," she explains. But it’s not just tennis that feeds her creativity—she’s also influenced by spa resorts and vintage styles from the '60s and '80s, elements that lend her collections an air of timelessness.

Her background as a professional tennis player has been central to Bonifique’s DNA. Anastasiya began playing tennis at the age of 8 and has used her intimate understanding of the sport to inform her designs. “My personal style and the brand’s style are both sport chic and relaxed. I want to give athletes and travelers something extra comfortable and high-quality,” she says.

One of the most critical aspects of the fashion industry, according to Anastasiya, is originality. "Many brands copy each other's style, following the flow of fashion, but few stand out and give customers something truly unique." In her pursuit of quality, Anastasiya pays close attention to the fabrics she uses. "We are trying to find the highest and softest fabrics so that our customers feel their best, whether they are traveling or playing sports. Sport fabrics mostly come from Malaysia, and knitted fabrics are sourced from prestigious manufacturers in Turkey and Europe."

Bonifique has already attracted a notable clientele of professional athletes, including Aslan Karatsev, Yahor Yatsyk, and Dinara Safina, who have sported the brand during tournaments such as the US Open and Wimbledon. These athletes embody the active yet elegant spirit of Bonifique, and their partnership with the brand has helped solidify its status in the sport-chic fashion world.

Personal Inspirations and Brand Evolution

Anastasiya is not only a designer but also a mother, and her life experiences continue to shape her work. “I’m currently fascinated by being an attentive mother to my lovely daughter and discovering hidden gems around the world,” she shares. This personal exploration helps inform Bonifique’s evolving designs, allowing her to incorporate influences from diverse cultures into her collections.

Despite the challenges of starting her own brand, Anastasiya has learned valuable lessons along the way. "The biggest lesson I've learned is to always think about the customer’s needs and comfort first," she reflects. Her advice to aspiring designers is simple but powerful: "Put your love into what you create, think about what’s best for you, your family, and friends. Don’t follow the crowd, be unique and diverse."

As Bonifique continues to grow, Anastasiya has her sights set on expanding the brand’s reach. "We would like to show the whole world our philosophy—the love we give to our travelers and athletes," she says. With a design process that Anastasiya describes as “a creative mess with a touch of team genius,” it’s clear that Bonifique is a brand driven by passion, innovation, and a unique perspective on fashion.
