The two brands have collaborated and have created two Air Max Dn colourways mixed with the athletic aesthetic of Nike, which has been inspired by female athletes. The colours available for the Air Max trainer will be in beige and chocolate brown, which were chosen to channel Ffrench’s makeup range, which will be available from 20th December. Ffrench has designed the trainer with a brown silhouette with a dual chamber and a tubed Nike Air unit to create comfort and bounce when wearing the shoe. The beauty brand has commented on the idea behind the design of the Air Max shoe, stating to cosmetic business, “For me, the most inspiring thing about the Dn silhouette is how much opportunity it presents to play with texture, color, and aterials.” This year has been full of sports collaboration, switching fashion in particular, but now beauty is in play, and there is more recognition with femininity within sport. The British brand owner stated to the cosmetic business, “It has been inspiring working with athletes throughout this journey with Nike—and humbling to feel good.” It is exciting to see more recognition with women in sport and beauty brands; we hope to see more of this in the future.
