Kiko Kostadinov, the Bulgarian-British designer, has opened his second global flagship after his one opened in Los Angeles, America. The location is in the Melrose Hill gallery district so that he can have a closer link to the entertainment district within America, which Los Angeles is a known location for. The location of Melrose Hill is positioned near the art galleries of David Zwirner, and the surrounding neighbourhood is growing and developing with new restaurants being built, which will help with publicity of the store. The store was designed by the American artist Ryan Trecartin, who also designed the store in Tokyo. The interior has a darker tone to the store and has an American atmosphere, with the inside of the store having a pool table, lawn chairs, charcoal roof shingles, and king-sized beds. The designer stated to Business of Fashion, “We’re hoping that people will come specifically to us to see the space, or because there's similar, like-minded people and galleries that might be in the area." Let’s hope that this is only the beginning of the expansion of the fashion brand.
