The Rising Force Redefining Modern Artisan Jewelry: Inside the World of Jacx Carter Designs

Jacx Carter Designs was never intended to be a fashion brand, it was born as a form of survival. In 2021, while navigating the realities of living with an anxiety disorder, Baltimore-based creative TieSha Carter began making jewelry as a means of grounding herself. What started as a deeply personal ritual became a magnetic force, one that would organically evolve into a cult-followed jewelry house celebrated for its duality of softness and strength, architecture and sensuality, precision and soul.

Today, Jacx Carter Designs sits at the intersection of creative expression and intentional craftsmanship, merging TieSha’s engineering background with an intuitive understanding of feminine power. The brand’s pieces move like artifacts of individuality, designed not to decorate a woman, but to mirror her essence back to her. Statement-making without ever trying too hard.

“I build with structure, but design with emotion,” TieSha says. “It’s very technical, but it always starts with energy first.”

Across collections, Jacx Carter’s visual language is quietly intelligent yet visually magnetic. There’s a precise use of shape and form, most evident in the HARLOW Collection, inspired by the sculptural architecture of the British town of Harlow.

Polished brass forms curve into wearable geometry, contrasted with Preciosa crystal accents that catch light in movement rather than in stillness — purposeful, not ornamental. It is jewelry with presence.

Meanwhile, the ETHEREAL Collection leans into the romantic, feather-light, floral-inspired silhouettes that float between day and night. It’s femininity without fragility, whisper-soft yet self-assured.

Rather than designing for one type of woman, TieSha designs for every kind of woman who knows exactly who she is.

Jacx Carter’s rise hasn’t been loud, but it has been undeniably influential.

Her work has appeared on NYFW and Miami Swim Week runways through collaborations with Flying Solo, alongside emerging brands in luxury swimwear and ready-to-wear.

Her designs are frequently seen on creatives like Juanita Louis (@_juanitalouis) and entrepreneur Iyana Tennon (@yanaseyes), women who embody the brand’s unapologetic stance on individuality.

Past retail placements include Doors NYC, Soho House London, and Flying Solo, signalling early recognition from fashion insiders long before mainstream discovery.

Yet everything remains deeply independent: Jacx Carter is still fully self-run, with TieSha serving as founder, designer, CEO, creative director, and production artist. An empire built by one woman’s hands.

What separates Jacx Carter from trend-led jewelry labels is its emotional discipline. Every piece is handmade, mindfully paced, and released only when TieSha feels its purpose.

“To be worn is intimate,” she says. “If I don’t feel the energy of a woman in it — I won’t release it.”

This isn’t just jewelry. It’s womanhood, engineered.
