Barbara Bush, George W. Bush’s daughter, has joined Kamala Harris in the state of Pennsylvania in the swing state trail. Despite the Bush family traditionally stemming from Republican royalty, Last month, a spokesperson for the Bush family stated that neither would publicly express their views towards the campaign or which side they favoured. During the campaign with Kamala alongside Tom Walz, Barbra Bush stated the experience was "inspiring." Although in 2010 Barbra Bush received accolades from fans after telling People Magazine that she does not support either political party, social media posts show that people respected her for expressing her political opinions. She was praised in a social media post by Dick Cheny, Bush’s former president, “for standing for truth, decency, and freedom." However, this isn't the first time we’ve seen celebrities publicly go against the political views of their families in this campaign, for example, Melania going against Trump’s policies about abortion rights.#
