The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Film Awards 2026 will take place on Sunday 22 February 2026 at the Royal Festival Hall in London. The ceremony will honour the most outstanding film work released in 2025 and will be broadcast in the UK on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
The nominations were announced on 27 January 2026, with this year’s field reflecting a strong balance between prestige filmmaking, bold performances and ambitious international cinema. One Battle After Another leads the nominations, followed closely by Sinners, with Hamnet and Marty Supreme also emerging as major contenders.
