The 83rd Golden Globe Awards officially kicked off awards season in signature fashion: high-glamour arrivals, a few genuine surprises, and the kind of star-packed room that reminds you Hollywood still knows how to put on a show.

The People Everyone Talked About
The Golden Globes red carpet always has its A-list core, but 2026 also felt especially current, with pop culture personalities and internet favourites taking up space in the room and on the carpet.
Olandria Carthen was one of the most talked-about attendees of the night, showing up as a clear red carpet favourite. She also had one of the most viral “crossover” moments of awards season so far, after a photo of her with actor Hudson Williams sent the internet into its usual spiral.

Across the ceremony and after-parties, the guest list read like a full industry roll call.

The After-Parties That Became the Second Main Event
If the Golden Globes is the warm-up, the after-parties are where the night turns into its own story.
This year’s standout venues included Netflix’s afterparty at Spago; Nikki Glaser’s afterparty at Sunset Tower Hotel; Chateau Marmont and the official celebrations at The Beverly Hilton. In other words, the ceremony ended, but the fashion and networking didn’t.
